About us
Located at 1265 State route 168 in Hookstown PA 15043, we have been serving the local veterans and the local community since 1947. Our mission is to assist where we can in the community to enrich the lives of others. This may be in events, a place to meet, the canteen for food and comradery.
To rent the hall, please call the legion during open hours at
724-573-4132
and they will provide the hall managers number.

After joining, come to the post on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 19:30 with your DD214 to be voted in.
Eligibility Information
If you have served one day of federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces since December 7, 1941, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving - you are eligible for membership in The American Legion!
*Because eligibility dates remain open, all active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join The American Legion at this time, until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the government of the United States.
**U.S. Merchant Marine eligible only from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (WWII).
